Motorway allegation

A BBC production manager has received a £3000 bill for allegedly damaging the motorway after sliding into the hard shoulder on the M6. 

Mrs Sheila Kaur-Patel was shocked in reciving this bill 3 months after and looked into it immediatly. The charges where seen to have come from Amey LG Limited , who quoted that  there is a 7.5 tonne tipper hire, repairs to rails and £1,830.91 for the closure of the hard shoulder.

For such a minor slip with no other cars involved and with a slight scrape to Mrs Kaur -Patel's car, Amey LG LImited stuck to there story and said the bill was for inspection work carried out after she left the scene.

Explanation of terms

Vox: This is where the story is given including the public opinion. It is seen as a good way to make the story more interesting through the interaction of the audience.
Clip: This is where you hear another person that isn't a reporter. It could be involved with an interview with a celebrity commenting on a story about them.
Copy: This is when you can only hear the news readers voice , where its a story with no audio attached
Wrap: This is where the listener hears the new reader talking and then it is followed by a clip, going back to the news reader throughout the same story.
Voicer: This is when the audio is changed from the news to someone at the scene or with more knowledge and experience with the story  being told. for example sport.

News Reader/ Presenter : The person that talks about the news, telling information
Reporter: Person at a different location with more in depth information about a particular story
Interviewer: Someone that interviews a person about a story to the more information
Interviewee: A person involved with a story to give information tot eh news
Script: Something a news reader has to stick to and reads throughout the segment - never ad lib
Cross over to : news presenters handing over to a reporter
Cuts to: This is where you hear some audio from an interview
Audio: pre recorded segments
News Bed: Music played in he background of when the news is told
News Intro: The head lines and basic info about what is going to be said in the news is given a brief description
Promo: A section of bulletins sponsored such as the weather
